Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical systems in multifamily residential buildings
• Install, configure, inspect and verify life saving fire alarm equipment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with other trades to coordinate work and ensure project deadlines are met
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues to develop effective solutions
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and team members

Qualifications:

• Canadian Red Seal of Excellence Journeyperson certificate
• Minimum 3 years experience with installing, configuring, inspecting, and verifying life saving fire alarm equipment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in multifamily residential construction
• Strong understanding of electrical and control systems and components
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
